Over the past 21 years ( since Jan. 1993) I held consultant positions in Paediatric Surgery,  covering all aspect of Neonatal, General and Urological surgery in children.

At the Social Insurance Hospital ( Riyadh, KSA), I was the only Consultant Paediatric Surgeon in a 250 bedded hospital.

In 1994, I came to Aleppo, Syria, a city of over four millions. I was appointed to the University faculty staff as a senior lecturer and a consultant paediatric surgeon at Aleppo University Hospital and the Specialist Children Hospital. The University Hospital (550 beds) is the major teaching referral centre for the whole of northern Syria covering a population of over six millions. Every aspect of paediatric & neonatal surgery, elective, emergency, trauma and many with very advanced pathologies, are managed by my unit. I also had my own private practice clinic.

In 1996 I was appointed at Tawam Hospital, Al-Ain, UAE. , and as a Clinical Associate professor post at the Faculty of Medicine.  Tawam Hospital is a 455 beds teaching hospital. It is the tertiary referral centre for Paediatric Surgery, Paediatric Oncology and Paediatric Thoracic Surgery for the whole of the UAE.       

My clinical special interests are Paediatric Urology and Neonatal Surgery.
