Profile:
Dr. Bashir has 25 years of experience in the UAE where he established the first unit of Obstetric Medicine and the Middle East. This unit looks after patients with medical problems preceding, during or post pregnancy. All high-risk pregnancies are managed through this unit that is supplemented by combined clinics in different sub-specialties. The unit was accredited by the Royal College of obs-gynae as the first of its kind for training of obstetricians in maternal medicine outside the UK.
In 2012 Dr. Bashir was awarded the FRCOG from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, UK for his contribution to women’s health and the wellbeing of women in pregnancy. He is well known for his patient centered care.
